Leaving Utah

I've talked about how I feel about Utah before. The good, the bad, the ugly. I love it there for mostly sentimental reasons. There are some things I didn't love so much. Snow from November to May, for example. Even though, now that it's November and still 75 degrees....I find myself missing winter. Barely, just a little! I do love a good cup of cocoa, not much use for hot drinks in Nevada. But I digress.
After Kellen was done with school, we wanted to move on. We'd been there working on that degree for so long, we just felt like a fresh start was needed. So we considered our options. Mid-considerations, Kellen got to talking to my uncle, Aaron, who is a Physician's Assistant. He had recently finished. After talking with him a few times Kellen decided he liked the idea. This was around May-June. So he started doing his research thing, looking up all the requirements, prerequisites, school information. After about a month of tossing ideas around and making sure he really felt good about it, we started making the preparations so move. We decided Henderson was the place to go first. He needed prerequisite science classes and we very well could have stayed where were for those, but we were itching to move along.
I quickly found out that packing for a cross state move is a little more involved than just moving two towns over. Maybe it's just me. My inner OCD kicked in.

All set for the drive with mommy!

A pit stop for some refreshments!
